Horsefield Tortoise, a great pet for experienced hobbyists and beginners, with massive popularity in the U.K, can eat axolotl. It contains a high level of protein and is low in fat.

They aid the digestion of the Horsefield,  greatly to the ratio of calcium and phosphorus too.

For feeder fish, the axolotl is a good choice, but for species like goldfish, for instance,  thiaminase which blocks Vitamin B and causes a deficiency, fishes without thiaminase are better.

Yes, Horsefield can eat axolotl, it is a great choice for your pet, totally safe.  Never try to make both live together.

Tortoise might change its food at intervals, making it uncomfortable for the axolotl, and axolotl’s water temperature is lower than Horsefield.

Axolotl prefers between 50-60°, while Horsefield is 90-100°. If it is about feeding your pet with axolotl, you’re good to go.

To have a room of varieties, Spring greens, kale, plantain, dandelion, endive, collard greens, escarole, endive, clover, etc.

Avoid feeding them with tomatoes or fruits. The digestive system is not good for sugar, you could make your pet lie under the weather.
