Bananas are as much and acceptable source of nutrition as any other food source. It is yet another fruit that can be added to a diet to make it varied.

Yes, but only as a small portion of a varied diet. If your tortoise consumes too many bananas, they can become fat.
Personally, I wouldn’t feed more than twice a week. Feed them sparingly and only as treats.

Some tortoise with sensitive stomach can face dodgy stomach as well when they consume it.
A varied diet is really important and a must to supply all the health elements they need. Sorry to some of you that disagree but a varied diet keeps them healthy and no illnesses to show speaks volumes I say.
